Working from Home will Increase for Many Women in Business.
Managing the demands of working from home and juggling family is challenging in the best of times for women who run businesses.
Coping with economic stressors caused by the COVID-19 pandemic will require women entrepreneurs to lean into community and collaboration perhaps more than ever before.

A recent Research survey by Mc Crindle before the pandemic shows that Australians are eager to make significant changes to their working styles
This Covid 19, Coronavirus pandemic is unlike anything we’ve dealt with as a business community.

Women Working From Home and Protection
Women are trying to respond but also trying to protect their family as well as their employees and … pay their other bills.
Adapting To Working From Home. It’s the uncertainty, and nobody was prepared for this immediate stop of revenue.
Abrupt business closures, employee lay-offs and shifts to working more online and at home could become long-term trends for business owners and employees to work more remotely.

Adapting to changes caused by the coronavirus “is going to fundamentally change the way we all do business.
This is a great opportunity to look at how it can work in a positive way.
It’s a time to take on new ways of communicating with our employees, also the time and money that can be saved from travel.
One of the big things I keep telling women is this might be the new way of work, so we need to look at doing to have to think of things differently.
Maybe Dream come True for Some
When things are getting back to normal and they will, we need to consider new ways of working.
Probably never going to go back to the way it was, and as business owners, we have to be aware that not only are we changing.
The way we offer and sell our services and products and sales are going to change.”
A lot of people did feel guilty about working from home, and this (pandemic) has given people permission.

I can work from home and it does work.
Maybe we will see the positives of working from home.
We will see more video conferencing and video calls then personal meetings.

This is a good time to connect more with social media to be able to collaborate and share ideas on growing and not feeling so isolated.
Let’s step back and think about how our business model is going to need to change. Women by nature, tend to take on fear and stress while trying to take care of everyone else.
The New Complications Working From Home
As women, we’re doing a million things.
We don’t ask for help but this (coronavirus crisis) is on a huge scale.
Our kids are home and have more responsibilities and distractions and how are we going to be running our businesses and working from home environment.
What makes women business owners so fabulous is their empathy and compassion and care.
Women business owners are struggling so much and this is why it is important for us to reach out for support.
We have a lot of caring women business owners that are trying to do the best for their staff and sometimes they do it at the expense of themselves.
Every decision we make right now is difficult for our business owners who work from home.

What Makes This Pandemic different?
What makes the coronavirus pandemic so different from other disasters is that it is affecting businesses nationwide.

A natural disaster like a storm, flood or fires even manmade crisis like a mass shooting tends to have the greatest impact in a community or state.
We are all in this worldwide this is affecting everybody. When people are backed into a corner, it’s trying to give them the empowerment to say.
Working From Home What are my options? What can I do?
I have noticed is that there is a sense of I’m going to find a way to help you.
It’s opened to our community spirit to say, I get what you’re going through. It’s a community spirit of people digging in and saying,
Maybe I know somebody that I could help. It’s showing the value of collaboration, not hard-hitting competition.
These types of businesses are going to come out of this and be stronger because of the relationships they created before (coronavirus) happened.
The people we have in our networks are so critical for that support for business owners and businesswomen.
