About Philippa Hunt

Hi, I’m Philippa Hunt, founder of WiseGirls Money. I created this program after working as a qualified Financial Adviser for many years and deciding it was time to assist women who desired to learn and develop the self-empowerment to understand their emotional relationship with money, the skills and knowledge to save and invest.

Women told me that they wanted to learn how to create their own financial safety and security.

WiseGirls Money is a space to provide the opportunity and place for growth and development of women of all ages in personal and financial skills in a supported female environment so that they take control of their future to become financially competent and capable to reach their own financial independence.

I spent many years acquiring the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge to create this Program and build it into the premier site for Financial Education and Capability for Women in personal development, financial and money management. I wanted to create a program that adds real value for women who want to take control and learn to trust their own financial decisions.

Holding a degree in Business Management specialising in Organisational Psychology and Human Resource Management, added Psychology qualifications later.

Commenced financial planning many years ago and saw this field as an extension of my business experience and a way of being of service in a direct and positive way to assist people to change their life on a personal level. While building my business I achieved my own privately held Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) in January 2016. I was one of the very few women at this top level in the industry. Real street cred.

Many years have been spent working with women’s issues and groups such as President of BPW Canberra and served as a member on the Sydney Women In Finance Committee. Assisting women with their growth and development adds a quality to society that also educates our children in their formative years.

As a precedent for WiseGirls Money, I ran a successful women’s career and personal development Springboard program for 100 women and won an award by the CEO of that organisation.
